Netflix has detailed its **October 2026 romance anime lineup**, setting release dates for three returning titles across the month.

The slate begins with **The Ramparts of Ice Season 2**, which premieres on Netflix on **October 1 PT / October 2 JST**, with new episodes released weekly. Netflix previously confirmed that the second season will stream worldwide.

Based on Kocha Agasawa's manga, the series follows Koyuki Hikawa and the changing relationships between her, Miki, Minato and Yota. Season 2 is directed by MANQ and animated by **STUDIO KAI**.

**Blue Box Season 2** follows on **October 4**, also with weekly episodes on Netflix. The sports romance continues the story of badminton player Taiki Inomata and basketball player Chinatsu Kano as their relationship develops alongside their athletic ambitions. Daisuke Sakou directs the new season, with **Electric Circus** handling animation production.

October's romance slate concludes with new **My Happy Marriage Season 2 special episodes** on **October 25**. Netflix has not specified the number of special episodes in its announcement. The series continues to feature Reina Ueda as Miyo Saimori and Kaito Ishikawa as Kiyoka Kudo, with Takehiro Kubota directing and **Kinema Citrus** producing the animation.

The three releases give Netflix a concentrated romance lineup during the opening month of the Fall 2026 anime season, ranging from high-school coming-of-age drama to sports romance and supernatural period fantasy.
