Accuracy and sources
We seek to publish information that is accurate, attributable and presented with appropriate context. For news, we favor primary sources such as official announcements, public filings, direct statements and credited interviews. Secondary reporting is identified and linked when it materially supports a claim.
- Rumors are not presented as confirmed facts.
- Machine translation is checked against context before it is relied upon.
- Dates, names, credits and regional availability receive particular attention.
- Uncertainty and conflicting information are stated clearly.
Independence and conflicts
Editorial judgment is not sold. Advertising, affiliate relationships, access, review copies, event invitations or partnerships do not determine our conclusions. A relevant financial, personal or professional relationship will be disclosed when it could reasonably affect how readers understand a story.
Sponsored content, if introduced, will be labeled clearly and will not imitate independent reporting.
Reviews, opinion and spoilers
Reviews and essays are informed judgments, not neutral measurements. Writers should explain the evidence and perspective behind their conclusions. A review copy or advance access will be disclosed when relevant, and coverage will not be submitted to a rights holder for approval.
Material spoilers should be signposted when they go beyond what a reader would reasonably expect from the page title and introduction.
Corrections and updates
We correct material factual errors promptly and transparently. Minor spelling, grammar or formatting changes may be made without a note. Substantive corrections should explain what changed. Developing stories may be updated as new verified information becomes available.
AI-assisted work
Generative tools may support limited production tasks such as transcription, translation drafts, research organization or copy review. They are not treated as factual sources, and a human remains responsible for verifying claims, shaping the argument and approving publication.
We do not knowingly publish fabricated quotations, sources, experiences or images as documentary fact. Material synthetic media will be labeled when its nature would not otherwise be clear to readers.
Media, attribution and rights
