BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War lists episode 49 for Monday, October 19, 2026, at 24:00 on the TV Tokyo network, followed by episode 50 on Monday, October 26, at 24:00. Both dates come from the official Japanese on-air page.
Why Monday at 24:00 is Tuesday at midnight
The timetable retains the late-night program’s Monday label. On a conventional calendar, 24:00 is the end of that day: episode 49’s slot is Tuesday, October 20, at 12 a.m. JST, and episode 50’s is Tuesday, October 27, at 12 a.m. JST. These are two ways of writing the same broadcast times, not separate airings.
For a personal calendar, enter the Tuesday midnight timestamp with the Japan time zone. Converting that instant gives the following reference points:
- Episode 49: October 19 at 3 p.m. UTC, or noon in São Paulo (BRT).
- Episode 50: October 26 at 3 p.m. UTC, or noon in São Paulo (BRT).
Those equivalents describe the TV broadcast. They are useful for interpreting a Japanese countdown, but they do not establish when a service in either region will release an episode.
Why the schedule differs from the earlier weekly slot
The production committee’s September 12 schedule notice announced the change, saying it would allow further quality improvements toward the climax. That explains why an older weekly reminder is not a reliable substitute for these episode-specific dates. It is the committee’s stated reason, not an independent assessment of production conditions.
Japan’s online releases have their own times
The same official page lists domestic subscription and rental distribution from noon JST on October 20 for episode 49 and noon JST on October 27 for episode 50. Advertising-supported distribution is listed from 00:00 JST on October 25 and November 1, respectively.
These are Japanese distribution categories. They do not confirm identical timing for an overseas platform or its subtitles. Check the local service’s episode page before treating any of the Japanese slots as your own release appointment.
A new promotional video is available
The official site published a promotional-video announcement labeled THE LAST PV on October 16. Readers who prefer to avoid promotional footage can follow the written timetable without opening the video. This guide does not describe its scenes or use it to predict episode events.
Check episode numbering before catching up
When comparing a platform menu with the official timetable, look at the TYBW episode number rather than assuming that every catalog uses the same season labels. A release date and a viewing-order position answer different questions. Our Bleach filler and watch-order guide is the companion reference for planning a catch-up route; this page is limited to the current broadcast dates.
