The official Attack on Titan website unveiled character visuals featuring Eren, Mikasa and Levi on October 20, ahead of Attack on Titan: Crimson Bow and Arrow returning to Japanese theaters on October 23, 2026.

The screenings will be offered in SCREENX, 4DX and ULTRA 4DX. This is a theatrical re-release of the 2014 compilation film, not the announcement of a new Attack on Titan movie.

The visuals revisit the anime's early years

According to the October 20 announcement, the promotional designs use illustrations from the film's original 2014 release. Eren and Mikasa appear in their training-corps days, alongside a sharp-eyed Levi.

Which Attack on Titan film is returning?

Crimson Bow and Arrow is the first of the two compilation films that re-edit the anime's original television season. The official re-release announcement, published on September 17, also introduced a theatrical trailer revisiting Eren and his fellow trainees' encounters with the Titans.

The same announcement describes SCREENX as a three-screen projection system that extends images onto the auditorium's side walls, and identifies this run as the series' first release in the format.
