The new *Magic Knight Rayearth* anime will run for **two consecutive cours** beginning this fall, giving CLAMP’s classic fantasy series an extended return to television.
The announcement was made on September 20 alongside the anime’s **[second main promotional video](https://rayearth-anime.com/news/)**, which also previews its opening and ending theme songs. The series is scheduled to premiere in Japan on **October 7, 2026**, at 11:45 p.m. JST on TV Asahi’s IMAnimation W programming block.

The latest trailer previews the opening theme [**“Otome no Ken”** performed by Toaka](https://rayearth-anime.com/music/), as well as the ending theme **“Seira”** performed by Yurina Kawaguchi.
The announcement also revealed [four additional cast members](https://rayearth-anime.com/staffcast/). **Mamiko Noto** will voice Alcyone, **Ayumu Murase** will play Ascot, **Hitomi Ueda** will voice Caldina and **Hiroki Yasumoto** will play Lafarga.
They join the previously announced main cast led by **Ayane Sakura as Hikaru Shido, Rumi Okubo as Umi Ryuzaki and Rie Takahashi as Fuu Hououji**.

*Magic Knight Rayearth* premieres in Japan on **[October 7, 2026](https://rayearth-anime.com/onair/)** and will air across two consecutive cours. An exact episode count has not yet been announced.

The new adaptation brings CLAMP’s *Magic Knight Rayearth* back to television more than three decades after the original anime began airing in 1994. The story follows Hikaru, Umi and Fuu, three girls transported from Tokyo Tower to the fantasy world of Cephiro, where they become the legendary Magic Knights.
