Fall 2026 is shaping up as a season built around major returns, long-awaited adaptations and a few unusually notable revivals. *The Apothecary Diaries* begins its third season on October 2, *Black Clover* returns to television on October 3, *Blue Box* resumes on October 4, and *Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2* brings a completely new crew to Night City on October 20. Meanwhile, *PSYREN* finally receives a TV adaptation, and CLAMP's *Magic Knight Rayearth* returns with a new anime production.

This is a **living guide**, not a frozen launch list. Anime Meridian verifies premiere dates and streaming information title by title and will update this page as distributors announce additional territories and schedules. “International streaming not yet announced” means exactly that — it does **not** mean that an anime will be unavailable outside Japan.

For this edition, we are focusing on selected TV and streaming anime with confirmed Fall 2026 plans and clear relevance to international viewers. Japanese broadcast dates and international streaming dates are separated where necessary.

What Fall 2026 Tells Us About Anime Right Now

Fall 2026 is shaping up to be a season defined as much by return as by discovery.

Several of its biggest titles come with history attached. *Black Clover* is returning after years away from television, *Magic Knight Rayearth* is coming back in a new production decades after its original anime, *Dragon Ball Super: Beerus* is revisiting familiar material through an enhanced reconstruction, and established series such as *The Apothecary Diaries*, *Blue Box*, *Aoashi* and *Ranma 1/2* are continuing stories audiences already know.

At the same time, the season still leaves room for new starting points. *PSYREN* is finally receiving an anime adaptation long after its manga ended, *Firefly Wedding* brings a very different kind of romance to the lineup, and *Overgeared* introduces another major Korean property to the international anime audience.

That mix is what makes Fall 2026 interesting before the first episodes have even aired. It is not simply a season of sequels, nor is it dominated entirely by new productions. Instead, it reflects how modern anime increasingly moves between long-running franchises, revivals, international streaming releases and adaptations that can find new audiences years after their source material first appeared.

For international viewers, one question will remain especially important throughout the season: **where each anime can actually be watched**. Some titles already have clear global or multi-region distribution, while others still lack confirmed international streaming plans.

Anime Meridian will continue updating this guide as premiere dates, episode counts, streaming territories and other material details are officially confirmed.
