COMMUNITY STANDARDS

Comments Policy

Anime discussion is better when disagreement stays curious, specific and respectful.

Last updated September 15, 2026

This policy describes the standards that will apply when reader comments or other public community features become available on Anime Meridian.

Current status

Comments are not active yetAnime Meridian does not currently accept public comments. This policy is published in advance so the community standards are clear before participation opens.

What is welcome

Thoughtful disagreement, close reading, corrections, recommendations and personal perspectives are welcome. Address the idea rather than attacking the person, and give other readers room to enjoy anime differently.

What may be removed

  • Harassment, threats, hate speech or dehumanizing language.
  • Targeted abuse, doxxing or sharing another person's private information.
  • Spam, repetitive promotion, scams or malicious links.
  • Impersonation or deceptive claims about identity and affiliation.
  • Knowingly false claims presented to cause harm or disrupt discussion.
  • Copyright-infringing material or content that violates applicable law.
  • Graphic, sexual or otherwise inappropriate material unrelated to the discussion.

Criticism of Anime Meridian and its work is allowed. Removal decisions are based on conduct, not whether a comment agrees with us.

Spoilers

Use clear spoiler warnings and avoid placing major revelations in the opening lines of a comment. On articles about a specific episode or ending, readers should expect discussion through the point identified by the page title and introduction.

Moderation

When community tools launch, we may review, limit, hide or remove contributions that violate this policy. Repeated or serious violations may lead to temporary or permanent loss of participation access. We may also close discussion when moderation cannot keep it useful or safe.

Moderation decisions involve context and judgment. This policy does not require us to publish every submission or preserve removed material.

Reporting and questions

Once comments are available, reporting controls will be explained beside the discussion area. Until then, questions about these standards can be sent to [email protected].
